MGIC is proud to partner with the Minnesota Homeownership Center to help more potential homebuyers access Owner-Occupant Landlord Training. This free course highlights key considerations for prospective buyers who are deciding if owning a small rental property and becoming an owner-occupant landlord is right for them. Once you complete the course, you’ll receive a certificate of completion.

How the course works:

  • This course is divided into several lessons that include videos, quizzes, and other interactive content.
  • It should take you approximately 30-45 minutes to complete the course. If you close your browser window, you won’t be able to save your progress, so make sure you have enough time to complete the course in one session.
  • To receive your certificate of completion, fill out the brief form at the end of the course.
