The Center and our network of partners offers Home Stretch, a two-part program to simplify the home buying process and to prepare first-time home buyers for the important choices related to home ownership.

Home Stretch counseling is offered through local community-based nonprofit organizations and may not be available in all areas. Contact your local Home Stretch provider to see if counseling is offered near you.
Home Buyer education may be required by some mortgage lenders in order for borrowers to qualify for affordable mortgage loans. Our Home Stretch education program has been approved to meet the requirement by most mortgage lenders, including:
